The problem: The client, Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, needed an impactful campaign to highlight the resource AskingSaves.org for Mental Health Awareness Month. The wanted a focus on connection, and reaching outwards. Not only for seeking help when you need it, but to others who might need your help too.
The solution: A digital and print ad campaign, with room to be adapted into motion for video and animation. Sometimes the first step to seeking or offering help is a physical reminder that someone is there. This campaign highlights how something as simple as touch can make others feel less alone and unravel the negative feelings of someone in a mental health crisis. It seeks to remind you to ask for help and or ask others what they need.
After deciding on a concept, I worked to provide storyboards and art direction to our video team to adapt the print and digital campaign into a 15 second video that directs the audience where to find help. The goal here is provided comfort to the audience, while still provided clear detailed instructions on where and how to seek help.
